Enrolment is now open for the Second-Level University Master’s Programme in “Resilient Carbon-Neutral Buildings – CO₂-Neutral Build”, promoted by the University of Genoa in collaboration with prestigious Italian and international academic institutions
The deadline for submission of applications is set at 12.00 noon on 12 February 2026
The Master’s programme is intended for graduates holding a second-cycle degree in Civil, Building, Mechanical, Environmental and Territorial, Chemical and Materials Engineering, Energy Engineering and Architecture. Applications from related disciplines may also be considered, subject to verification of the required qualifications
The Master’s programme aims to train the professional profile of an Expert in Zero-Emission Buildings and Structures, a specialist capable of integrating engineering, architectural and energy-related skills
In particular, the programme aims to:
provide a solid theoretical foundation on green and carbon-neutral buildings, with a focus on European and international regulations and requirements;
develop advanced skills in LCA and LCC, energy and structural modelling;
explore innovative and bio-based materials, nature-based solutions and technologies for energy efficiency;
strengthen problem-solving and project management skills, also through workshops and real-world case studies;
offer an integrated perspective on the ecological transition in the construction sector .
For the 2025/2026 edition, 10 scholarships are available, each with a value of € 2,700, funded through PNRR resources
The scholarships provide full exemption from the Master’s programme participation fee and also include an additional contribution of € 1,920 to cover expenses related to attendance. Only the university fee and revenue stamps remain payable by the students
Scholarships will be awarded on the basis of the merit ranking at the end of the selection procedure .
