UniGePASS credentials
To submit the application for admission, applicants must hold UniGePASS credentials, which allow access to the online services of the University of Genoa.
If you already have UniGePASS credentials, you can use them to access the application procedure directly

If you have never held UniGePASS credentials, you must proceed with registration
Application for admission
The application for admission must be submitted exclusively online
by 12:00 noon on Thursday, 12th February 2026.
The following documents must be attached to the application through the online procedure:
1. copy of a valid identity document (front and back)
2. curriculum vitae
3. if the degree was obtained abroad and has already been declared equivalent to the required Italian qualification, documentation certifying the equivalence
4. if the degree was obtained abroad and has not been declared equivalent, equivalence must be requested for the selection procedure and one of the following documents must be attached:
- declaration of value of the qualification issued by the relevant diplomatic representation
- statement of comparability issued by the Information Centre on Academic Mobility and Equivalences CIMEA (www.cimea.it) or by another official centre of the ENIC-NARIC network
- Diploma Supplement
- transcript of records indicating the subject of each examination and the related syllabi
5. any documentation supporting a request for full exemption from payment of the university fee
Enrolment confirmation
Admitted candidates must complete the online enrolment confirmation by 26th February 2026.
The following documents must be attached during the online confirmation process:
1. one colour passport-size photograph in JPG format, not exceeding 50 KB
2. receipt proving payment of the enrolment fee of € 3,132.00, including revenue stamps (€ 16.00 + € 16.00) and the university fee approved by the Academic Bodies for the 2025/2026 academic year (€ 400.00)
For scholarship recipients (€ 2,700.00) referred to in Article 6, the amount to be paid is € 432.00.
Payment may be made online using the pagoPA system or through the services offered by Banca Popolare di Sondrio, the University of Genoa’s treasury bank. Payment by bank transfer is not permitted.
