Teaching Organisation

The Master’s programme offers a structured and intensive training path, designed to combine advanced theoretical knowledge with practical applications, within an international and multidisciplinary environment. The teaching organisation is designed to support progressive learning and direct interaction with lecturers and industry professionals.

The teaching organisation is designed to ensure a balance between intensive training and flexibility, in compliance with the attendance requirements set by the programme.

The Programme

The Second-Level University Master’s Programme in Resilient Carbon-Neutral Buildings – CO₂-Neutral Build offers an advanced and interdisciplinary training path, aimed at preparing highly qualified professionals in the design, analysis and management of sustainable, zero-emission buildings and structures.

The programme integrates skills in structural engineering, energy engineering, sustainable architecture, innovative materials and environmental assessment, with an approach aligned with the latest European and international regulations and the objectives of the Green Deal and the UN SDGs.

Structure of the training programme

  • Duration: 12 months

  • Credits: 60 CFU

  • Total workload: 1,500 hours

  • Delivery mode: blended (in-person lectures and e-learning), with at least 50% of hours delivered on campus

  • Language of instruction: English

The programme includes theoretical lessons, applied activities, design workshops, an internship in a company, and a final assessment.

Study plan and courses

The study plan is organised into thematic modules covering the entire life cycle of a sustainable building, from design to operation, including case studies and hands-on activities. Teaching is delivered by university lecturers and experts from the Master’s partner universities.
